I had a great experience with them because I didn’t have to get one over the phone I actually was able to do it in person, he took his time with me and the storage was very reasonable. He walked to the storage with us to make sure that it was going to be big enough to put everything in it. I would recommend them to anyone. Very polite, kind, respectful and patient with you . I’m going to use them again soon.

This storage facility is one of best and clean. The people who manage the facility are nice and they keep the property looking good. While checking on my units I never saw any rats or roaches. So if you need to store something for awhile you don’t need to worry about your personal property getting destroyed. The Southern Self Storage in Slidell, La is taken care of very well, I recommend this facility.

Kentrell was extremely helpful. He made the process simple and enjoyable!

Kentrell stayed on the phone with me to walk me through the emailed rental application and insurance form. He was very patient and kind, explaining things along the way. I’m not the best at on line things, so he patiently told me what to look for until I had finally filled in all the boxes and could submit. Even though I had requested a non climate control space, he explained to me the big advantage of keeping my furniture “healthier” in air conditioning. I just couldn’t afford it. Kentrell did all he could to make my experience pleasant.

Clean, safe, and really friendly! Dana is especially super to work with! I forgot to do this review and have had the storage unit for months now. Everybody here that I talk to is still awesome. You know how sometimes people are cool when they want your business, but forget that later on? Not a problem here. If you're looking for reasonable rates, and good customer service, this is a great place store your stuff.

Absolutely amazing service! A few months back during a tropical storm a tree fell on my house and I needed a place to store my surviving items until I found a new home. The staff are very friendly and will work with you on any and everything you need to get your things stored away safely, the office manager even stayed late after I called so I could get setup so that my furniture didn’t continue to ruin in my roofless house. Also I love that it’s very well lit and there are cameras on sight, I work late so a lot of my trips to and from my unit were after dark and I always felt safe. Not to mention the have the BEST prices long or short term in Slidell for the value, and the customer referral program is straight BOSS! Thank you guys for taking care of me and my family!

We rent a unit here for my sister-in-law. Everyone here is helpful and the lot is always clean and easily able to access the storage unit. We've been renting here for about 10 months so far and have had no issues. We find the unit slightly expensive, but we've called around and it seems every other place charges about the same.

This place is cool and does business fair. We rented out an ac compartment. They do help out in finding carts and the drive in is not bad. Just make sure you get a storage container that is near the doors that way the travel is good. If you do not do ac, i would suggest not storing stuff in the summer or you will die of mad heat.

I came to a storage inn in 2005 in desperation right after Katrina ruined my house. I have stayed at this storage because I am very satisfied with the excellent management. My things are safe and the area is clean and well taken care of. I have referred many of my family and friends here and will continue to do so. Keep up the good customer service!
